Introduction to Business

This course will introduce students to the rewarding and challenging world of business. Introduction to Business will serve as the foundation for other business classes taken in high school and in college, prepare students for future employment or business ownership, and help them make better decisions about their personal finances. Topics  will include: Entrepreneurship, Saving and Investing, E-Commerce, Consumer Credit,  the Stock Market,  Marketing Fundamentals, Career Exploration, and Business Ethics.  Hands on projects, business competition opportunities, guest speakers, and a field trip will be incorporated into the curriculum to provide students with a fun and authentic learning experience.
